I got the call too, and I just told him "I don't have a computer!! " and he says, oh.... ok, goodbye. End of story

Dear friend, I am really sorry to get informed all this king of information. Yes we purchase the domain on our name and the site is hosted to our server. But they are just our client. We are running a software and web development company. I am talking to my client to stop those or moving the domain or server away from us.Thanks to all.

I got the same scam---two  hours arguing & making sure this was not a scam---$49 lost on my CC & they now have the card number----Stupid I am at 75----Crooks---they took complete control of my computer ---They downloaded software , which I did now uninstall.
This guy is going to call me again in morning because was having trouble with home phone due to storm. Maybe I should call the FBI or whomever would handle this. Someone from my bank called (fraud dept) or said they were & had me authorize the billing!!!  I just hope who I writing to is LEGIT.

yep, it's definitely a scam!!My cousin got sucked in for a couple of hundred. She did get a refund from the Credit card company on my advice.Guess what, they rang me today, so I had a hilarious 40 minutes, with different technicians trying to tell me all sorts a rubbish about my computer, they wanted $199 to register with them, and all my problems would be over.They said there is no one in the world as good as them, they are the only ones who could fix my so-called problems.I played real dumb, eventually they gave up, and hung up.I forgot to tell them that I have worked in the IT industry for 20 years.

got a really agressive lady from india with the same line. she said i had a lot of malicious files on my laptop and she would show me how to fix it. As she'd tried the night before and said it was windows based i told her i only had macs and ran a mac os - she hung up straight away. wish i'd done skiwiboys trick and played them a bit longer. losers
