They called didnt leave a message and i called it back and it says it not asighned

some man calling himself Anna wanted my address.Said she/he worked for service Canada.I told ''it'' to f*** off and hung up.

That number just called me. He said he is from employment services Canada , investigations.He was looking to confirm some employment history of a lady that worked for my company.She was looking to apply for disability or something and had some questions as to how many paid sick days I issued her, what type of company are we etc. Then he said my company was not registered, and asked when I opened. I told him that was odd because I had registered everything....seems like he was grilling me ! Anyways, he said the reason for the call was because he found a few things stand out, and needed to confirm the info that she wrote down. Definatley got my attention when he said he was from investigations, however didn't like him practically accusing me of falsifying things.

Calling the number will not connect you to a specific phone; outgoing calls from hundreds of Service Canada phones are filtered through that prefix. They can then confirm which facet of the gov't called you (EI, OAS, CPP, etc) and connect you to an agent.
