We hired Leonard from Davinci Flooring to re-finish our hardwood flooring in our house. He came recommended to us by a friend. He quoted us a price for completing the floors but later said it didn't include the stairs or back entry way. Why would we have wanted the stains not to match? We understood the price included refinishing all the hardwood.
Once the job was done, we found plastic and hair that was imbedded in the stain; visible brush strokes and groves in the stain; a gouge in the wall; deep gouge in one of the kitchen cabinets; and stain on the carpet. Not to mention there was no clean up done so the entire house was covered in a layer of choking dust.
When we contacted Leonard Coutu, he denied that the 'damage' had been done by himself or his worker and was very uncooperative in making this right. It seems he has no pride in his work.
We have given up in trying to get him to repair his work and will move on.
