This is definitely a scam.  It happened to my friend a few months ago and she thought it was ligit, and gave her credit card number (big no no!)  They just called me from this number and asked if I was over 21 and if I had a credit card and as soon as I said I had no credit card it was: "well bye bye then."  DON'T FALL FOR THIS!  AND TELL YOUR FRIENDS!

"Congratulation, you have won $2000.  To claim it now, press 1 now"

I pressed 1 on my cell phone. The phone got disconnected. My next phone bill comes to $1,252.33!!!

Like above, no message left, no caller id.

This number called a new cell I just got on Oct 14/09I used the reverse directory at http://www.whitepages.ca/reverse-lookup on Oct 16/2009 and it came up with:W R Mains145 Somercrest Cir SWCalgary, AB T2Y 3H1(403) 201-9988Which looks like a LEGIT land line and address so I don't know what's going on with this one...

This number just phoned me, I let it go to voicemail as I do with all numbers I don't know. It left a blank message on my voicemail.

(403) 201-9988 came up and didn't answer it. Doing research, it seems a scam and as also reported on here by others.
