I've been getting calls from this same number. Every time I answer it they hang up and never leave a message. Its very irritating.

I have the best luck using my caller ID.  If I don't know the number, person calling or unavailable I don't answer.  I have a phone that takes messages and if no message is left, guess what.

Got a call from this number. They said the government was giving away $7000.00 to people with no bankruptcy or criminal record. They had some of my personal information and were asking if I was single or married. I didnt let it go any further and hung up.Then they called back and left a message saying the phone number to call and see if it was real was: Then hung up. No number to call. It was a foreign accented guy that called.

I got the same call as Angel.  Who are these people and how did they get all of my information.

While I am typing this I just got two more calls from the same number. What kind of scam is this?

For the past couple of days I have been receiving phone calls from an out of area number (365) 214-7896). I didnt answer at first because I didnt recognize the number. After googling the number I received a lot of information about this being a scam. I have received this call several times a day. Today I answered and the foreign man on the phone told me that he was from the United states treasury and my husband received a grant for $7,000 and they needed a little information. This is exactly what the complaints on the internet were stating. That he would need the SSN and DOB. In my research it seems to me that this scam has been going on for about two months now. I then yelled at the person and told him not to call back. He called back and just kept stating over and over, "you bloody American" "the FBI is a disgrace you s**t" "you bloody americans deserve to die".

my roommate just got a call. Has anyone had any negative things happen from this call?
