Do not press #1!!! This is most definitely a scam. It appears that the lure is structured around the claim that you have won and/or been chosen at random to receive 100,000 reward points. In Canada this most often is Air Miles, but in my case it was Petro Canada/Petro Points.I have a grandchild that works for Rogers, and he informs me that they have had to deal with cell phone customers that having pressed #1, later discovered when their next cell phone bill came in that they had been charged for 100?s of international long distance calls they had unwittingly authorised by pressing #1 as the automated call had requested.

Got exactly the same message - knew it was a phish, and pressed one to get more info. Waited with musak in the background for about 2 minutes, then hung up. Jan 12, 2011, about 10 a.m.

I got the same call but the number is now (403) 674-2323. I sent in an e-mail to Air Miles. As long as it's not one of those long distance collect call scams.
