Got a voice mail from +1 877-471-1603 and they left a message claiming to be from ICM &R. Have not spoken to them yet, but the note above makes things very clear. Got a call months ago saying I had a GE capital debt. I never had their account. Moreover, it seems to be from 1997!!  Hello - statute of limitation!! Anyway, the message says a court case has been filed and a number was given. Problem is, I work in the legal field. I know you have to be served. And when I tried to look up the case, it can't be found in the state court system. So yes, probably a company trying to intimidate, especially if you don't know your rights.
