Phoned but did not leave a message or name.

Calls my home every day and there's no one at the other end.

I’m a Toronto journalist seeking more information on people making these calls/ claiming to represent this company. Can anyone who has had contact with them send me an email at emathieu @ thestar.ca

Called this evening. The girl on the other end claimed she was from "Community Drug Awareness". Thanked me for a donation I never made in 2009, went into a lengthy spiel about how drug pushers are contaminating the food we buy with crystal meth, and got very pushy trying to get me to donate to the cause. Even correctly identified me by name and address, though anyone could have harvested that information from the phone book. Sounds like a scam to me.

After they call, dial *57.  This will trace the number with sasktel.  Write down the date and time as well.  Do this 5 times in a row and then you can then file a complaint with the police.  That is what I am doing, hopefully if enough people do this we can get the police to investigate them.This is not a community/drug magazine.  Everything about this indicates it is some kind of a fraud.
