Paul, the Do Not Call List is updated monthly. If you just registered on the DNCL, it will take up to a month for your numbe to appear. In the meantime, if you answer their call and tell them not to call you, they need to register your number internally in their own company's list and immediately cease calling. If they call again after you have spoken to soomeone from the same number, go on the DNL site and register your complaint.

I think all this flow of numbers, can only come from the phone company itself, as you see them changing phone numbers, and there are a great many phone numbers of them. What The f*** is wrong with these people they call my house like 50 times with a fax line everytime i answer everytime i answer all i hear is a fax line beep beep like stop harassing me and they canada is a nice country not when u have these jerks disturbing your house.

Got a call from these parasites today at 9:07 p.m. - caller said she was calling from something like "G.S.K. Research" ... so, I asked her what country she was calling from - she replied Canada, so I then asked if she normally phoned and bothered people at home after 9:00 p.m. ... to which she replied it was only 7:00 p.m. where she was calling from ... and then she asked if I was in Ontario ... to which I replied "YES!" and hung up.  It frosts my butt that some two-bit call centre from a different time zone has the gall to phone and harass me at home so late in the evening.  Now I'm going to go double-check and see what the CRTC rules are for telemarketers (i.e. I think there's a limit to how late they can phone ...)

This number is listed as a teleReasercher.  If they are a ligitimate RESEARCH COMPANY then they can legally call until 10pm respondent time.  However there is a new list being created at the end of this month on the CRTC site to have your phone # blocked from TELEMARKETERS.  There is a difference.  But you should all go to the CRTC site to read the rules and regulations for having your number removed from these companies.
