Got a call from (306) 411-0000 didn't answer

Got a call looking for Anna with my last name at my phone number.
Caller identified themselves only as a bank.
When I asked what address Anna had given them, he told me a city in my province
I told him he got duped

I recently inherited an x-employee's coorprate phone number.  Received a call from (306) 525-0929 and here is how the conversation went.

Nikki - Can I speak to "Bob"
Me - Bob no longer with the company, how can I help you?
Nikki - can you transfer me to HR?
Me - Can I ask whose calling and what is this regarding?
Nikki - this is "Nikki"
Me - From what company?
Nikki - Just transfer me to HR department... is that so difficult?
Me - I am not a receptionist, I just took over Bob's job.
Nikki - Who is your manager?
Me - is this (name of my company) business related?
Nikki - Just transfer me to someone in the HR department
Me - Can't give you that number as it is for internal use only
Nikki - fine, I'll call back
Nikki hanged up .............

It's MBNA Canada credit card. In my case, they were calling to check up to make sure I received the paper work that needed to be sent back to them to disput a credit charge. (I didn't hear the phone ring, and they DID leave a message instructing me to call back the MBNA Canada fraud department.) So, it's not ONLY for credit collections that they will call you from this number.

Call at 0850 am on 8 Nov 10, from person ID'd as "" RICHARD KALER "" from this number.  When told wrong number, EXTREMELY PRESISTANT!  Claimed to be from “CANADA BANK”.
