I just called 1-(289) 796-0030. These calls are from Lifeline Alert. I told them to take my name off their call list. I will wait a few days to see if they called again and if so I will call them again and tell them to remove me from their list and that I would report them. I hope this works.

This number has called me (robo calls I think) at least 6 times over the past week or so. When I pick up, no one speaks and it eventually hangs up. When I let it go through to voice mail, no message. So I called it back today and asked who the company was and why did they continually call, and more important, that I'm on the DO NOT CALL list. Smart-a** reply from the guy who answered who identified himself as "Chris Davis". Idiots. Yet another number I will now have to block myself.

(289) 796-0030This company is circumventing current telemarketer legislation by saying that they are not telemarketers but conducting a survey or that you opted in to thier survey on the internet or trade show. Lies, pure lies. Survey my @ss. What part of DON"T CALL don't you ignorant b@stards understand? This company and the people working for them are committing criminal activity that is criminal harassment pure and simple and they are habitual repeating offenders.Best way to fight back is to not answer these jerks when they phone. But they are so annoying because they repeatedly offend by repeatedly calling and that is criminal harassment and punishable under the law. Here's a couple of ways that you can fight back.1. Report them to Federal & State Regulatory authorities.2. If you have a cell phone like an i-phone or android, use the call block feature on it as it's free. Just add these numbers to your "Blocked Callers" list on your cell phone.3. Additionally, there is now computer software that your computer can run which will block callers to your home phone. Here is the info you need to stop the robo-calling and harassing you. Sachem Alum Wins $25k in FTC Invention Contest to Block Robo-calls Nomorobo, an invention by Port Jefferson resident Aaron Foss, beat out nearly 800 other inventions in a call for ways to block robo-calls. All this involves is using your home computer to filter the calls which you add to a Blocked Caller list. You computer will kill their robo-calls! : )http://sachem.patch.com/articles/sachem-alum- ... block-robocalls4. DO NOT SUPPORT these companies in any way shape or form and tell everyone you know about these dis-reputable companies and to NOT support them in any way, shape or form. Don't buy their products or services so that they are put out of business and become bankrupt. Starve their business so that they lose their company, their homes and are starving on the streets.5. It's time to bankrupt them by filing a class action lawsuit against them. They'll go bankrupt from just the legal fees. Not only should the company be named in the lawsuit, but the names of the people that run their corporation. Take them for everything they've got and leave them penniless, homeless and starving on the streets. They're already morally bankrupt so they might as well be financially bankrupt as well.Word should get out for people to NOT buy or use this companies services, ever.Be a fellow Patriot and stand up for Yourself and Your Rights by Fighting Back! These unscrupulous @holes continuously change their phone numbers so as to evade harassment laws. This is their latest number 1-(289) 796-0030 as of April 12, 2013.

This # is constantly calling me, giving 2 options press 1 to talk to someone if there's a senior living here, press 5 if you wanto be removed from the calling list. I have pressed 5 several times when that didn't stop the calls I pressed1 and told them no seniors living here please stop calling me. The calls continue almost everyday now and when I press 1 it disconnects. I am tired of this and would like the calls to stop now!! Thank you!

Fantastic. I'm going to check that out. I have been using a less high tech method. I have an old referee's whistle. Get someone on the line then give a loud blast on the whistle. Listen while they scream! It provides a great feeling of joy and fulfillment.
