Wasn't this guy a winner saying he's going to check my furnace and hot water tank for $650.00 to see if I qualify for the Eco Energy grant. I am actually an HVAC service technician. I laughed at him and said people really fall for that BS. Told him I was a technician and going to report him to the ECO Energy board because I deal with them all the time helping customers qualify for grants free of charge.He apologized then Funny he hung up on me....lolP.S. Called at 5:45 today. Said calling from Eco-Energy "ON BEHALF" of Enbrigde. When I asked him to repeat the name before confirming my address in the GTA he did and then was saying "the nature of this call..." and was cut off. Either by his Monitor or he did it himself. These guys are always calling without defining who they are or what they do exactly. Many times I asked to be removed from their list they say they will and they never do.

Look at what the world has come to, when these frauds are coming to your door and praying on the good will and kind hearts of our communities. These men could be anyone and no one. What is even more disturbing is the complete ignorance of the public comprehension of the use of titles. These guys jobs are to spy on you in order to create a market for the legal monopoly. It is an intelligence gathering operation. if they smell drugs, or are children living their, the cost of the appliances and tv. they report back to the CRA, CPS, OPP, LAW, ETC. You see the massive security breach in your behavior?Now it is possible that this is not happening and these guys are just a sloppy operation in contract to whoever. Maybe En bridge or hydro one didn't update the website or maybe the law has a loophole. IT'S A BIG MAYBE!!!!

I'm more likely to believe iris competitors trying to get information on your current system to see what they can sell you, or thieves casing the neighbourhood, than police spies. But all might be possible. If there are really grants to be had from the government, we wouldn't be hearing about it from door-to-door cold-call sales people.
