This is the second time I have been "harrassed" by unsolicited calls from this number.  A female voice with an English accent states that I can get low interest on my existing credit cards.  When I pressed "2" to be removed from the list - a real woman got on the line and said you can get 2% on my credit cards (obviously a scam).  I said I want to be removed from the list - she said I need your number.  I said "absolutely not".  She said, "well, I need your number in order to take if off the list".  I said if you call again, I'm calling the cops".  She said, "excuse me?"  I hung up before the call excalated further.

They do not identify themselves and make outlandish claims.

Same thing just happened to me! Tried to call the number back and it's not in service. I'm going find these a**holes. I hate this. HATE IT!

She said they did own the number, but it belonged to their marketing team. Now, here's where things got messy... I believe what she admitted to was that they have at-home telemarketers and I picture some jerkface in Oakville toggling between his Callers' List and YouPorn.Anywho, I refuse to give her my name and inform her I am not a client of their "global phone company". I ask to be removed from their Callers List and she says it can't happen! She then tells me if I have a problem with that fact to call the police!!!!I strongly recommend you file a quick online complaint with the CRTC and if you have nerves of steel call the degenerates at IRISTEL and tell them to remove your number from their Callers List.Jim

I got a call from the same number this morning too. It is obviously a harassing! Wtf!
