Daughter called me from her cell phone in WY and this number showed up on landline caller ID. called Verizon to make sure I would not be charged anything for a BC call on our account

these calls are coming from overseas, out of the counrty calls, thats all.

When I called the number back I got a recorded message that I had reached 'Mary' at Accelerated Savings.  When you Google the name Accelerated Savings you can find other information indicating this is a scam where they try to get you to give them your credit card information so they can negotiate a lower interest rate for you.  Duh!

just got call from this number. no info.

Personally I have been getting calls that show that # the last one a few minutes ago was my husband on his cell this is not his cell# of course but that has been happening off and on lately a odd # that doesn't match who is calling on the caller ID. If its a routing type problem or what I will just have to answer because it may be family calling. Just called our local phone co. and asked about it they are going to check. And Yea, I will get a call back if they find anything out sense they are a small local company not a huge conglomerate. Will let you know what they find out.

This number came up for a VIOP system.  It was more than likey routed incorrectly though the system and was given this number or when the VOIP hit the land line it was assigned the incorrect number.  Just know that this number indicates that the call is coming from a VOIP system (which in most cases is a business that calls - ALOT).  :)
