> how can I get off their list????You cannot, because they are not "honourable" businesses, and because their computers are "randomly" dialing numbers, until somebody answers.You can register with Canada's "Do Not Call" list (if you live in Canada).That only stops the "honourable" businesses, not the "dishonourable".Some telephone-companies, and some telephones, can "block" incoming calls from up to 32 different numbers. Add this number to your personal list ('<star><six><zero>' for Shaw Telephone customers),and your telephone won't ring.
