I recieved a call too, they said they are from nanaimo. They gave me a very detailed description of what your going to win. They say you are guaranteed to win 2 of 6 prizes they have(vacation las vegas, 2 for 1 caribbean, 100 dollars coupon, Tv, cam corder ets.)They will book an appointment for you. On the day of tour appointmeny they will discuss the background of the company...they say they own century 21, travelocity and so on...that they are abig company..they say they are not like timeshare..but they will sell you vacation ownership. You need to purcahse 5,000 to 20,000 dollars worth of vacation ownership with 300dollars monthy payment. They will tell you you would be able to stay in suite or a 5 star hotel or no.1 hotel in the world with kitchen, 3 bedroom, beautiful view, and live like a true millionaire with your penthouse suite for a week for only 250 dollars only if you purcahse 5,000 to 25,000 worth of vaction ownership. So, dont agree with it cuz ithink its b***s***...they'll push you to buy but eventhough you didnt accept the offer you still get gifts such as tv, camcorder of trip to vegas but I think theres only few of those they can give, most people like 90% only get like 100 dollars coupon or caribbean cruise package whick is like buy 1 take one free, still you have to pay half of it. So after the 90 minute talk, just walk away lol and get the free gifts dont buy any of their vacation ownership. gifts are true but they are pushy, rude and annoying.

Aviawest is a timeshare/resort, they try to get you to go to their 90 min presentation to sell space at there resorts and tell you that you have a chance to win a car or something good. Your prize at the end is usually a gift certificate to one their resorts so you have to go there to use them.
I just got a phone message saying I might win a Mercedes and he just needs to verify some information. That's how they get you in.
I have been to one of these presentations. Unless you want a vacation spot somewhere it's useless to go.

I worked at aviawest and Kim is the head boss there its not a scam but there do try to sell you a timeshare and they will call you every single year until you change your phone number or die. Even after your dead they will harass your spouse . Its horrible , indeed you do get the prizes off a scratch card you are gaurunteed four of six i believe it was I did see lots of people get the free nights and lots of people got the 2 for 1 cruise and stuff so you do get gifts but the 90 minutes is never that short but hey you can go get the prizes and then after the 90 minutes say f*** off and just take the stuff and run lol . There not a scam just annoying and harrassing.

Rich called several times to let us know we won a chance to be winners of a Lexus car draw. All we need to do is drive to Victoria, show up for an appointment, play a Deal or No deal game with six suitcases and one of them could hold the key, you guessed it, for the Lexus. Whoppeee! Nothing was said about a 90min BS session on timeshares. We got taken it by this years ago when they were called Pacific Shores in Parksville. It wasn't worth the hassle then and it certainly isn't now!!! Don't waste your time. Nice enough people but pushy.
