What a load of crap!  Keep them on the line as long as possible and be sure that you waste THEIR time.

This number is from Avia west, they are telling you that you have a chance to win a lexus, and you have 2 out of 5 prises to claim, you just need to show up for their 1.5 hr presentation in victoria at the parkside victoria resort and spa on humbolt st and just listed to it and then spread the word about there business, except, they forgot to mention that they will badger you to purchase a time share and you only have a chance of winning  a prize after you buy something!!!What a scan to pray on people like that.web site iswww.avaiwest.com/lexus

I got several calls from this number. They ask for some information---once, I have responded, but they called me again---so that I would not give any specific details and did not return the call. They know my address, phone, age/salary range (in general and what is listed in the phone directory probably). I am sure I did not enter that draw. To mention, be careful when one would ask for some personal information that is not listed anywhere.

Got a call from this number in April 2008. Said that I had entered a draw for a vehicle and they wanted to try and get me in on the early draw. They left a voice mail and keep calling back. I haven't entered anything resembling this type of draw so I know it is not legitimate.

Lately they have tried to claim that my spouse already agreed to pick up some sort of prize in Burnaby BC and I should book an appointment.

I got the call today.  Aviawest seems to sell timeshare interests for several properties and the company looks legit - see http://www.aviawest.com/They obviously need to drum up interest for their product thus the 90 minute presentations.  I was told if I show up at the presentation, I am guaranteed 2 of 5 prizes which echoes a lot of what has been posted above.I may or may not go - have zero interest in timeshares.  Have to decide if the 90 minutes of my time and annoying (and potentially rude) sales push is worth the two gifts, likely to be the $50 gift certificate and the 8GB ITouch, although they also offer an Aviawest 2 night stay, 3 days in Vegas, or 7 days in Hawaii.  Probability of walking with those prizes, or the Lexus, is likely very low.Anyway - I think it's legit, just annoying for the 99% of us who do not wish to go into a timeshare.
