They keep calling from "Merchant Services" asking right away to verify whether or not my business accepts credit cards. Best case scenario: ?they're looking for business to use their credit card services. Worst case: they're phishing for unsuspecting business owners to divulge credit card info. The number is why appeared on the call display. When I call it, there is a recorded message about "family action coalition" or something. Maybe the scanners are using this other organization's number as a cover. When these people call, I just repeat back whatever they say to me. It totally irritates them. Try it next time you get telemarketed!  Sometimes they get very upset -funny.  Basically it's fun to waste their time for a few minutes instead of the other way round, and I figure eventually they will actually remove my number from their call lists.

Got this call this afternoon.  No answer when I picked it up, then suddenly a recorded voice came on to say, One moment while I connect your party.
