No... what caller ID spoofers do is use a number in your country so you'll think its a relative calling you from the coast, when in fact that are actually calling you from India or Africa. They use computers to fake the caller ID information, and the phone companies allow them to do it cuz they are gettin paid, which means the phone companies are complicit in this crime.Why do we have perfectly good nuclear weapons going to waste when they could be used to blow up countries that are engaging in this phone scam activity?

I just received a call from this number, after i pressed 1, something like chineese or japaneese than ''nothing''....  I reported the call to Bell, and they put a note in my folder, so if I get billed for some strange call starting today, they will cancel the charges...They don't seem to be able to put their hands on the rats doing this kind of fraud.
