Pre-recorded message about how lowering your credit card rates relates to the financial stimulus...now way to opt out of the call.  They say something about it being the last and final call...funny because they called 2 of our business phone lines at the same exact time.  ICK.

thsi number keeps calling me saying i need to lower my credit card rate and i do not have a credit card .It is obviously a telemarketing agency

This number is false, they are not in Victoria, BC, Canada. Caller said this is my last chance to get a lower interest rate on my credit card. I have received at least 8 "last chances" in recent months. I know it is Billsdebt, claiming to be affiliated with Visa and Mastercharge, phishing for credit card numbers and if you give them one you they will try to take out $1995. I wasn't doing anything so I thought I would waste some of their time. We progressed to the point where she asked for my credit card number. When I replied that she should already know that, as she called me, she hung up. I gather they are based in Nevada, so being on the Canadian Do Not Call list doesn't help - anyway, since they are a scam they wouldn't pay any attention to the DNC list.
