You can't not have insurance through them unless you have it through another province.

I received a call from them today. They were just asking if I'm interested in a direct deposit.

The weirdest thing happened to me. I got a voice mail from someone named "Lisa" at Revenue Services of British Columbia saying that she was "returning" my call, but I never called her! So I called her back to tell her that I didn't call her and she said that a women left her a message with my name and number. Creepy! She didn't ask me any personal information and she said that I don't owe any money, She told me to just disregard her message. But I don't know who to trust! Is someone calling around pretending to be me? Or is this "Lisa" person trying to scam me? Any insight would be much appreciated!!!

Advise not to call them back.  I tried calling this phone number back several times and all I got was an automated tree, then when I finally got someone they kept asking me all kinds of questions.  I tried to give them a lot of info except my SIN #, then they HUNG UP on me very rudely!

If it is Revenue Canada, they need to stop this agression NOW or people won't call them back anymore.  In fact, they shouldn't be calling people in the first place, it is too much time and trouble.  Mail is the best way.
