More garbage calls--WE WANT YOUR MONEY--garbage--spam etc.

Phone rings, it's a solicit call to lower my interest rate on my credit cards. Press 1 to speak to an agent, press 2 to unsubscribe these calls. I press 2. I'm sorry that is an invalid entry...but wait it doesn't end there. I am then connected to an agent. The phone line is clearly an oversea's line; I ask what the name of the company is - agent answers DIBO, me: where is your head office? Agent: Canada. Me: Where in Canada? Agent: Ontario. Me: Is Ontario the city? Agent: Yes, oh wait, it's Toronto. Me: Last question I state, and if you answer it correctly I will speak with you about your product. Me: Who is our Prime Minister? Agent: Lady, I don't know and you ask too many questions...he hung up on me

They called when I was out and didn't leave a message, on Saturday around 4:30pm so I thought it was a personal call because the number was familiar but glad to see it's not.

Called and left no message.  Apparently this number originates from Chemanus, BC which is not quite a known financial centre.  Maybe Corrections Canada prisoners are getting more phone time?  Our tax dollars at work.

there must be some way for the law to track down these a***oles and throw them in jail if there even in canada. there must be a way to find the person who has that number,they must have a service provider. I can only hope that one day,these crooks will all be rounded up and hung by there balls.

SCAM - 1-(250) 324-8131 . when i answered there was a recorded message regarding lowering credit card interest rates. At the end of the message there were 2 options:  press1 to speak to an agent press2 to decline further calls. I selected 2 and receive a message 'that is an invalid option' so i pressed 1. A very heavily accented man started asking me questions. i told him that i had selected option 1 to decline further contact but it did not work. He replied that it would cost me $50 to be removed from his call list. i challenged him about who he worked for and got nothing but evasive answers. when i asked him for his phone number he asked why and i said i was going to report him he said 'well, now i am never going to give you my number.' there was more to the conversation but it is included in a report to the police.
