If you are subscribed to TELUS and you have the calling feature Anonymous caller ID and get a call that shows up on your call display as "ANONYMCALLERID' and the number displaying as 310 8682, it's because the caller is calling 'UNKNOWN' or 'OUT OF AREA' so the callers are prompted to state their name. Once their name has been stated, the call is directed to the subscriber's line.  The subscriber can answer the call or allow the call to go to voice mail or a network announcement. PRIVATE and UNKNOWN callers who do not state their name when prompted will be disconnected.

they have called before several times...I block them but somehow they get through my block service.I registered 2 months ago for the 1800 DO NOT CALL SERVICE but they still callI would appreciate them being FINED for not obeying the Do not Call Service Rules (International)thank you

I registered on the National Do Not Call database and followed up by registering a complaint with the database.  If enough people register complaints we can put these jerks off the lines.

called 4 times in 10mins.  I answered the first 2 times it was an operator saying press the pound key to accept a call from and it beeped like a fax coming in.  Just hung up the 3rd time then 4th let the answering machine get it.  Then calls stopped.  For today anyways.  I hate stupid calls.
