I received a call at 6:30 in the morning by someone with a heavy accent telling me that he was calling from Microsoft and that the Microsoft computer software on my computer had a malicious virus. He was calling to "walk" me through some strange procedure to rid my computer of the virus. I asked him why Microsoft didn't appear on the caller ID. He stumbled, mumbled, and I called his bluff. He continued to insist, though, and became rather rude. I told him exactly how I felt about what he was actually trying to do, and then I hung up.

Called saying they were from the Better Business Bureau. When they asked for my address, I said they should already know that. When I pressed for their name, they hung up. Likely a potential scam

received a call from this number and when i called it back it said number no longer available

I got a call from this number and they said it was Microsoft. The ususal type in the command scam that let's them access my computer. I told him it was a scam and I asked him not to call me anymore.

the caller id on my phone is: v30610162100014

This number tries to send a fax to my phone line several times a day for several years now... when I try to fax it - I get a message saying the call cannot be completed.  I cannot find out who has this number by reverse listing either....
