Just got a call from this number, I was busy didn't pick up and the phone stopped. Then right after same number called again. After I was finished my dishes a few minutes later I looked and saw the number. When I realized it was a local (Victoria, BC) number, I tryed to call it back. All it said when I phoned the number is "The customer you are calling is currently unavailble." Definately kind of fishy. ((SEPT 11/2012))

Got another *^&#@ call from the "Microsoft Windows tech dept." saying my computer was corrupted & sending them messages, etc. etc. etc. Played along (I have a Mac), then asked for a phone# to call them back. Was given 1-646-251-1090 which WhitePages shows as an unlisted mobile in NY City area. Also did a *69 to Telus and was told the calling number was (250) 220-1090 (supposedly in Victoria, BC, where I am). Called it twice and got no answer. Canada911 shows it as unlisted.

Is Telus not able to stop the scammers. Not much point being on a No Call List when one still gets calls. This number has to do with credit cards

No Chump-No Sucker

Man with Indo-Asian accent phoned me to inform me that my PC had a virus. I asked who he was-(I didn't understand-his accent thickened each time I ASKED A QUESTION). I asked who he worked for, & again got the heavy accent, I think he said he worked for PC Security. He knew my name & address AND email through F-Book...not enough for me to give him my credit card information. Ten minutes of yanking this guy's chain was fun, so I finished our conversation, "You're saying my 'PC' is most definitely infected, got a virus-MY 'PC' HAS A VIRUS? "it certainly does, sir", he replied... "I'M RELIEVED THAT YOU DON'T DO YOUR RESEARCH, BUDDY.I DON'T EVEN USE OR OWN A PC'", I told him."I have dialed the wrong number. 'Click'. He hung up., I haven't heard back from that number. I also dislike criminals, & stupid criminals...even more!

Called again today at 11:55AM and when answered, no one on the other end.  Tried to have that number screened out by Telus but didn't work because according to Telus this number is allegedly disconnected or belongs to a business...  Telus call screen "service" is anything but a service and they are really unhelpful when dealing with scammers.

Called today at 11:30 AM while we were away - didn't leave a message.
