spam-unsolicited phone call with no benefit for us.

this number is continually calling my elderly mother, who pressed the number 3 to disconnect like they said and now I'm wondering if she has only made this matter worse.  How can I have her number removed from their calling list as the Ontario directory says this number is not in service.   Any help in this matter would be appreciated.
