OK, now I understand how this works.  When you are searching the web and visit a website that probably has some app that collects your personal information just for visiting the site - then the calls start from several different numbers, I might add.  I DID about 2 weeks ago google Dormeo Octaspring mattresses out of curiosity and looked at their site. I did not sign up for any information, I did not leave any information.  Huh. Does the CRTC, or the Privacy Commissioner know about their website set-up to collect your personal information without your knowledge or permission for the purpose of using it to target you with telemarketing calls????
