Either duped or surprised.
I have been 'roped' into one of these schemes. ?The internet screams scam, my husband screams scam...but there is something legit about it all. I have thought about calling my bank and having the charges reversed, only I think it's a real deal and I'm willing to ride it out. Tell me more about your experiences. :)

Nice Try Scammers...
Case -> I hope you're just joking about actually accepting the money. It's a credit card scam.
I was just called so I decided to hear out the scam for fun (yeah I'm weird like that) and after pressing "1", and then being screened by a lady to make sure I had a valid credit card I was transferred to "Hugo". He went on about all the wonderful things I'll be experiencing in Cancun. I asked how I could have won since I didn't enter anything and he said that it was probably from a previous hotel stay/vacation.
I told him I had to run and asked for a # to call him back and he only referred me to a website - www.cancuncalling.com. I told him I didn't have computer access right now and he told me the # is on the website - it's 1-+1 800-961-8354. Not much on the web about CancunCalling but it looks like yet another new name for an old scam. Look up the Travelcomm story - exact same scam.
Don't ever give your credit card # to someone that calls you!

Missed a call from this number, they did not leave a message. When I attempted to return the call, it stated that the number could not be completed as dialed so it apparently is an unworking number, yet clearly manages to make out-going calls. WTF

I received a call from this number a few minutes ago and couldn't get to my cell phone in time. If it is similar to other calls I have received in the past, I am NOT impressed. I will be contacting Rogers about these call
