Said commercial credit ?

Ihave had phone calls from a company requesting that I confirm my name and address in order to tell me what they were calling about. They refused to tell why they were calling but were insisting I give them a reference number which they are supposed to send to me once I confirm my address! I beg everyone to be vigilent of anyone calling to confirm your details or asking for further information. I can't believe the stage people have been reduced to trying to scam people in this way. Its so disgusting!

This is a very pushy debt collection company.  They like to leave a very urgent very important sounding message, but they are just another pos debt colletion company.

called and left a message to call.  didn't say what the company name was just CCM or something like that.  They got upset with me that I wouldn't give them my name and contact information and they left no reference number.  in the end they asked if I was so and so...so obviously they have call display and already knew what was going on.  I've talked with creditors before and this one was very ignorant and rude.
