Spoke to person today (they have called in past without leaving message). Collection agency - looking for someone who died 18 months ago ans was never at my phone number!

I've been receiving numerous calls from this number after activating a Rogers pay as you go phone/number two months ago. I haven't answered any of the calls because I didn't want to waste my minutes.I finally called the number back from a landline. I told them what my name is and explained that this is my new cell number. Of course they were tracking some other lady who must have had this number at one point in time. They were very polite and helpful and removed my cell number from their system.

this number is a collection company that also has a 1 888 number but thinks we will answer if its a local company calling. No messages were left

Got a call from this number, did not leave a message. I believe this is a collection agency and there may also be another number they call from that comes up unknown name and number.
