Called my wife today claiming to be an officer with Canada Revenue Agency. Said something about fraudulent tax returns ......obviously was a scam. They were dumb enough to leave a number to cal - (613) 707-6284. I called back and played along for a minute. Once I started to call the bluff the guy began to swear and utter threats over the phone. I was laughing hysterically as he lost all composure....hears a string of profanity as I hung up the phone.

I received a call from this number. I called back and received the "no routes found". This is a spam call.

Got a phone call from this # 204-480=3978 didn't recognize it so didn't pick up....thought if it is legit they will leave a message...no message...then I check here and glad I didn't pick up.

Yeah same stuff. Got 3 calls that were unknown and then another call with the actual number and I tried to call back and it said "route not found" scammers for sure.

Caller claiming to be from CRA and that i was being sued for tax fraud? Said a lot of things that didn't make sense and was very rude. Told him to contact my accountant and he got mad and hung up.

They keep calling and never leave a voicemail. I would like to have them blocked.

Don't complain on here... Mts... Manitoba telephone system... Is allowing this to happen... Call mts and see if you can get call block... I talked to vice president and the dumb bitch told me they had a long list of people that don't want call block. ??? Big liar... Mts does not care about you...

This number keeps calling me and it say Unknown Name and they never leave a message.the number is (204) 480-3978 then when i try calling it all i get is a busy tone.

Called this morning--another "Computer Maintenance Department" and your computer is filling with viruses (ohhhhh!).  I asked when did Microsoft start cold-calling and he flustered because he's off script, of course.  He said they're too busy so they contract customers.  By the way...I use a Mac!.  I went, yeah sure, pinhead, nice try.  I also told him they're a bunch of thieves so bugger off. Please, please do not give them any (more) personal information, let alone your credit card.  They are thieves bottom line!  I just don't understand why the CRTC and the phone companies can't do anything about it.  Technology, I guess...as per the bad guys are one step ahead...

I am on the no call list and have received many calls for a free cruise from this number. I usually hang up but now, i want to fight back. what can i do?

Got a call from this same number. The called the first time , I believe it was to verify my name and hung up right after that. and a few days later someone calls with a weird accent asking me to verify my card details because they want to offer me a lower discount on my credit card. I told the guy, you know what why should i trust you if you cannot even show your number and yet you are calling from VISA. And today same weird accent called back with this number . Clearly there is a trail so I know they are dodgy, I want to block all unknown calls from my phone .

Some crap about a trip to Bahamas.  Hung up & blocked it.  Won't bother us again...  ;)
