I get calls from these a***oles too.  No answer...just silence and then hang up.   What's amazing is that they can get away with this annoying b***s***.  You can call Ma Bell and explain what's going on but Bell gives a s***.  The "do not call" lists give a s***.  If you see this number come up on your "call display" and you happen to have an air horn next to your phone, one that gives about a 120 decibel blast.  Or...an emergency whistle is also a good "answering system" for calls like this.   'Nuff said.

Got a call from (204) 477-0924 yesterday when I was away and again today. It was an offer for the Globe and Mail. Not interested.

This number just called me now, they said they were calling from the Globe and Mail - I asked them to remove my number. I have seen them on my call display EVERYDAY for about a month. I hope their calls actually stop......

This number has been calling me at least twice a day for at least the last two weeks.  I always ignored it, until today when I finally answered... it promptly hung up.

Last time a newspaper called it was the Vancouver Sun.  I let the kid read off his little script up to the part where he thinks he's signing me up then I said, now you do have a version in braille, right?  I have no idea whether they do or not, but the kid hung up so fast I thought my eardrum might rupture.  That was 5 years ago, and they have not called me since then.
