This number is on my call display at least 3-4 times a week. They claim to be from the Saskatoon Star Phoneix newspaper. The first time I ever answered, this man wanted to sell me a subscription. When I told him I was not interested he just hung up on me. This number seems to be relentless and just never gives up!

I get calls from these a***oles too.  No answer...just silence and then hang up.   What's amazing is that they can get away with this annoying b***s***.  You can call Ma Bell and explain what's going on but Bell gives a s***.  The "do not call" lists give a s***.  If you see this number come up on your "call display" and you happen to have an air horn next to your phone, one that gives about a 120 decibel blast.  Or...an emergency whistle is also a good "answering system" for calls like this.   'Nuff said.

Ditto. Annyoing. BUT if you have a digital phone w/a base stationg (e.g. Panasonic), just choose to block the number with 'initial settings'. Worked for me.

got a call from 1-(204) 477-0924, - TELEMARKETERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!- IGNORE THE CALL OR THEY 'LL CALL YOU AGAIN AND AGAIN. THEY RECORD WHEN YOU PICK -UP AND SELL THAT LIST TO OTHER TELEMARKETERS- BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Calls twice a day, every day.  Does not leave a message.  We never answer.

Forgot to mention, my  number is registered on the Do Not Call list (and no the registry hasn't expired yet).
