Got the same call to a T, but they called from unlisted or blocked number? Didnt catch the name of the company as I didnt care too much about the 30 second survey I took the previous day, when I tolk her I wasnt interested after she said I "qulaified" to have my "gift" delivered at no charge to me.... SHE hung up. Insert angry face here --->

A total scam do not let these people in your home. I phoned to cancel my appointment to receive my free prize and I was abruptly transferred to a rude man claiming he was the manager and told me I was obligated to let them come. Then I told him I was calling the police and he was very rude and scary and I hung up. They still call everyday I can not get them to stop. This should be illegal it is harassment.

Got a call while back, they asked a few questions, hung up and thought, crap, robbers.  They asked about whether or not I recycled, do we have any pets, kinda thing.  S***, I got fooled.  I wasn't honest with the questions anyways, kinda thought something was fishy.  Got a call back today, telling me I won their daily prize of either a trip or the slap chop, but I have to listen to a spiel.  Ok, fine I can deal with that, oh but what times would my hubby and I both be available to listen to this crap.  Slight problem for her, my hubby won't put up with this crap, second is that my hubby and I work different shifts (him mon-fri day shifts, me evening and weekends), not much time left for a stuff like this.  Apparently we both have to listen to this spiel.  Won't happen.  There is apparently a chance of winning a $500 gc for a store of my choice available only on the 17th of March.

About a week ago had a survey regarding recycling. It's the only way I know this is connected, because it said I would be entered into a daily prize. Now, I am a supporter of the Winnipeg Humane Society, and when I saw WHS on our display, I answered foolishly. They said I had won a prize, and that in order to get the prize I would have to have an in house display. My husband told me that this was not right, and I did call them back and canceled. This is definitely a scam.

Yeah, just went through this, a two hour presentation, calls to "Trevor" on the line and a s**t pamphlet for my time.  I'll never get that time back and told him twenty minutes in he was wasting his time.  Don't do it.

I also received a call from them,but after I booked the appointment, I called the police, and I was told not to allow them in my property, and they also asked that I call the anti fraud centre, www.antifraudcentre.ca, 1-+1 888-654-9426.Afterwards, I called them back, cancelled the appointment,and advised them that the police have been called.I will report them to the anti-fraud centre ASAP, and I will ensure that they are thrown in prison for a very long time.Those types of companies should NEVER be operating.All of you affected by them, make sure that you report them to the anti-fraud agency.

I thought this was a scam from the questions they asked.  At the end of the 'survey', the fellow said because I was so nice my name would be entered in a draw for a free gift. I gave him a fake first name so I would recognize the scammers when they called again.  I just received a follow-up call (first call was a few days ago) to inform me my name has been entered into a draw to be held on March 17, so be sure to watch for a follow-up call!!  The name on the call display was WHS so I asked for the company name and what they did.  She explained they dealt in 'air quality systems'.  Hmm, hardly sounds like Filter Queen would be the item they sell.  The company name sounds like Winnipeg Health Authority and I'm sure this is intentional.  I googled the company name as soon as I got off the phone and my hunch was right - this is a huge scam.  No problem, if I have some spare time when they call back to inform me of my 'win', I will lead them on for awhile.

Donot schedule appointments and they will have to close up.
