Got the same call to a T, but they called from unlisted or blocked number? Didnt catch the name of the company as I didnt care too much about the 30 second survey I took the previous day, when I tolk her I wasnt interested after she said I "qulaified" to have my "gift" delivered at no charge to me.... SHE hung up. Insert angry face here --->

A total scam do not let these people in your home. I phoned to cancel my appointment to receive my free prize and I was abruptly transferred to a rude man claiming he was the manager and told me I was obligated to let them come. Then I told him I was calling the police and he was very rude and scary and I hung up. They still call everyday I can not get them to stop. This should be illegal it is harassment.

I have been getting calls from what the call display identified as "Winnipeg Health",usually when I am at work.Today, they called again, and I picked up.The caller asked if I remembered her calling doing a survey about anyone in my family suffering allergies. Anyway, today she told me I was a lucky winner of my choice of a time share vacation,or a Slap Chop kitchen gadget. I chose the latter, and was asked for an address to drop it off at.I foolishly gave her my home address.I asked if there were any strings attached to the "gift",and she replied I only had to listen to a spiel about their air purifying machines. Upon hearing that,I said I wasn't interested any more, and hung up. I am on the "do not call" registry, and am surprised to have received a call from a company that has a  listed phone number. I suppose they aren't technically breaking the rules,as the "survey" I earlier answered was allowed under the "do not call" legislation, but I still find it quite deceptive behaviour.

I had the same thing happen to me.  They called and asked if I remembered doing the survey, which I did remember.  They said my name had been put in a draw for a $500 gift certificate that could be used at any store in the city and that I had also won another prize, which I had a choice of two.  I chose the chopper, but after making the appointment for the same evening, I called them back and cancelled the appointment.  They said that they do all their advertisement by word of mouth and that it wasn't a demonstration of the equipment, he would only be telling me about it and seeing if I had any questions.  They wouldn't give me a time line as to how long this process would take.  After thinking about it for awhile, I thought that it wasn't worth my time and they would probably be asking me to provide other people's names and phone numbers and I wasn't prepared to do that to my friends.  When I told him that I wanted to cancel the appointment, he kept pressuring me for a reason.  I just finally told him that I wasn't interested anymore and I hung up.

Yeah, just went through this, a two hour presentation, calls to "Trevor" on the line and a s**t pamphlet for my time.  I'll never get that time back and told him twenty minutes in he was wasting his time.  Don't do it.

Same telephone pitch as everyone else.   A total scam.  Waste of our time. We are also on a "do not call" registry which these folks seem to ignore.
